Put simply, Sittercity is a company that connects families and babysitters. They currently have two platforms that work to accomplish this: Sittercity.com and HelloChime.com. Sittercity.com is, in a nutshell, a messaging platform with a background check feature, while HelloChime.com is an on-demand sitting service, where pre-screened sitters can be hired at the tap of a button.
I was brought on in a consulting role to help with issues the company was having with an on-boarding flow. And that's where this story begins.
